My Creative Process

Over the last decade and a half, I have done many projects as I've been able to build up my tool collection and develop my workshop.  I have used a variety of materials, mainly wood, leather, some acrylic, some metal and some material I'm probably forgetting.

I enjoy the making process, from the initial idea, putting the design on paper or software, planning, cost estimation, getting approval from the Financial Director (aka Mrs. kuduhandcrafted), procurement, executing and ending up with something that hopefully resemble the initial idea. Of cause there are many flaws I can see but unless I point them out to others, they don't see them.  If they do notice a flaw, I call it a feature - LOL.

I certainly do not consider myself as artistic. I'm more of an utilitarian maker - I require a thing that needs to do x and be no larger than y.  Once I have a design I don't have the artistic fair to add curves or embellishments.

Because I really enjoy the design and creation stages, I love to do custom projects for clients.
